[Cosplayflying] —— Suicide Squad: The Victory of Anti Hero League

Because too good can be too boring sometimes, Suicide Squad is all set to spice things up in the superhero-verse these years. Following “Deadpool’s” cue, the Suicide Squad that is a super-group of “the biggest and the baddest” villains in town this time trying their hands at crime-fighting instead, is peaking up interests in all corners of the world. DC is ready to go all out with the darkness on this upcoming film, just like Marvel did with Deadpool, and judging by the frenzy it is creating – it’s going to be yet another dark superhero film success. We are sensing a pattern here; maybe it’s time for the darker forces to rise after all.

So, as far as the storyline goes – a squad of super-villains are assigned a government mission under the leadership of the manipulative Amanda Waller, which is likely to result in their death. But, here are some points we have jotted down which uncovers why this film might just be the next big thing in superhero cinema!

The Who ’s Who of the Villain world are here – We have Joker- the villain who has given us all sleepless nights return to the screen. Other squad-member includes badass characters like Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, Katana, Rick Flag, El Diablo, Slipknot and Enchantress.

It’s Raw and Old School Stunts! – The movie is keeping it as raw as possible on the stunts front and we get to see less CGI and more real stuff than we have had the pleasure to watch in recent future.

The Comic Element – Like Deadpool, the movie is likely to have some “in-your-face” and “blatant” comic scenes. And, seriously we can get used to some raw, unrated humor once in a while.

Jared Leto as Joker – The reactions for Jared Leto donning the avatar of Joker have ranged from disappointment to doubt to anxiousness. Only till the pictures of his character started circulating though. While Joker makes for an important character in the film, Jared’s portrayal has been one of the best kept secrets and the biggest teasers for the film. Right now, the world is more than convinced that this might be the grittiest Joker we will see on screen and we can’t wait.

An Undeniably Great Cast – The other cast members are impressive choices too. We have names like Will Smith, Cara Delevingne and Margot Robbie, who look flawless in character.

A Superhero Film With a Difference – This is going to be yet another superhero film which strays from the usual fare. And, seriously we need more of those. The usual is great too, but the dark films not only stretch the audience base, they also make for a welcome break sometimes. This movie is set to solidify Deadpool’s Legacy, and how!
